Day 61, 2013 - Garnet, Another Rock of Utah Only one we found while out rock-hounding for topaz. Size is about 3/4 of a marble.

Day 60, 2013 - Topaz Here in Utah we have a number of minerals due to the previous volcanic activity a long time ago. Here is a bunch of raw topaz and smoky topaz we collected a few years ago.

While not a great subject or setting, I do believe it shows great color and sharpness. White balance set with my Expodisc. Will add additional info when I can get access to it.
