It will also open up a whole new world of photography because you can manipulate the settings to get certain effects. For example, this moon lit night is actually the sun. By shooting at a high shutter speed day became night.

Entry #3 Football - I love the impending collision of the teams with the player in the middle holding the ball. His eyes just draw me in. Had many great shots from this game, but something about the being right there in the middle makes this shot for me.

This wasp nest is not artificially colored, nor can I explain the colors. A parent at the school Moab Lady, Wendy, and myself all teach at brought this nest in. It was found abandoned in a tree and I wanted to properly capture it before it eventually falls apart with age.
