    Hark's 2015 and 2016

Here are a few more from the fair. Another shot of the Ferris Wheel: This ride is called Freak Out. Not only does is swing back and forth, the each group of seats rotates while swinging. This is the Orbiter. Took a while to get this image because a man and woman decided to stand...

    Hark's 2015 and 2016

I certainly got off to a very slow start this year. :o Since I volunteer to take photos of the local high school dramas, they've kept me extremely busy with 5 different shows--one per month for 5 months in a row. Whew! So I finally took a breather this week and went to the fair. Here is the...

    Another gripe about PCC 2015

When I use Photoshop on jpegs, the majority of times I right click on a jpeg and select the option to open with PCC 2015. Since the upgrade from PCC 2014 to PCC 2015, the option to work this way is no longer available. I thought perhaps I just needed to associate the program with the files it...

Search function leaves a lot to be desired.

I prefer using the advanced search to find posts rather than threads because usually I have a specific post in mind I'm trying to find, and if I know who wrote the original post, I can filter the results even further.

    Show Transform Controls--Need Help Please

Jake, previously I used the Warp tool to create the 'S' shape. I tried again, and while I can get it to work, first I must choose the Warp tool yet again then cancel the action. Once I do that, I have the option to select Free Transform which allows me to do this: This definitely helps...

    Show Transform Controls--Need Help Please

I'm working on a collage poster for my local high school's drama department and followed instructions in the video at the end of my post. Everything went fine until I got to the 3:00 mark where it says to click on the Move tool to access the Show Transform Controls option which I should see near...

Problem burning photos to a CD

When trying to burn a folder of photos to a CD, I keep running into 2 different problems. When I right click the DVD drive, no temporary files show up; however, when I insert a blank disc to be burned, the following shows up: So I deleted the file, added the folder of photos, and burned the...

It's official. I've seen it all!

Lol! Yes, The cow is Turkey Hill's mascot! When I went to college (near Hershey, PA), there were Turkey Hill convenience stores in the area. They are similar to WAWA and 7-11. One day one of the fraternities decided to pull a prank and stole a cow. It was tethered to the tree in the quad. Here...

Windows 10 Coming on July 29

Grrr...this is going to get tiring very quickly. And there is the icon in the system tray yet again even though I hid it from view on the first day. It appears every time the computer is turned on.

I just added the Firefox FxIF extension and got the same results as you with Firefox; however, when I use Chrome to view Chris' photo, it displays the EXIF properly as is shown below. Strange for sure.

Photographer who sold photos that weren't his

My apologies if this was previously posted as I haven't seen it here. There's a story going 'round the internet about a photographer who steals other peoples' photos and sells them for enormous amounts of money ($90,000). Seems one of the victims is fighting back in an unusual way. ;) Richard...

    Some tips needed - D7100

Are you talking about switching from single point focus to using several focus points at once? If so, take a look at the AF-M button. You need to push in the center of the button, and while holding it down, you rotate the front dial to toggle between the various options. If you are in one of the...
