Stood outside tonight photographing a lightning storm for 3+ hours. It was just perfect the way it tracked across the sky. Consequently I will be putting together my best lightning shot ever over the next couple of days. But there are 400 photos I have to go through and eventually edit those...

Went out to shoot some football today. One of the Dad's inquired about the photography and I gave him my card and let him know I got some shots of his son. He said he was interested so we shall see. Here's the vertical crop WayneF mentioned. Both crops look great, but I prefer the "clutter" in this photo. For me, it kind of adds to where she is.

Cropped to 8x10 In this format my eyes travel two ways. To the girls face and then the flower and sometimes to the center of the picture, the flower, and then to the girls face. The dead space added nothing to it and made it more point and shootish as opposed to a photograph.
