    Look up the spec of the D600 , will suit your needs very cheaply, yes its old but has some fantastic features including FX 24mp, 2xcard slots, 2x user settings, built in flash, built in af drive motor, full hd video the list goes on.

    PS, if you shoot in live view you basically have a mirrorless camera already.

    No damage then, best sell it on and get yourself a good used more modern lens. Ebay is a good place to start I've had some bargains in the past with afs lenses that wont auto focus, not a problem for me as i mainly use manual.

    Hi, be very careful, you might trash your camera. If it mounts ok just shoot in manual, try a few shots at about f8 at 1/60 iso100 to start and adjust accordingly as you go. Best of luck and be careful mounting it.

    Just an adage, depending on your camera a lot of editing can be done within the menu's, also try messing around with camera settings before you opt for post editing, a lot can be done on board.
