Still not seeing much unusual wildlife around the area. These are from our back yard. Note: the pole is crooked. One of these days I'll remove both the pole and feeder and replace with a new combo. The birds don't seem to mind. In fact, some of the larger birds such as pigeons seem to enjoy this. ;)

I don't have any mirrorless bodies. Maybe @BackdoorArts can give you an idea of other non-Nikon bodies. Since the Z7 is full frame and you aren't shooting mainly wildlife or sports, the full-frame aspect should fit the bill nicely.

As long as you are aware, that's fine. My D7200 grip has contacts that attach to contacts on the bottom of the camera body which allows an exchange of information. Like @Danno said, if you are looking to shoot fast moving subjects such as birds, wildlife, or sports, the D500 would be the better...

The other two types of birds that frequent the park the most are robins and red-winged blackbirds. Robin Female Red-Winged Blackbird This Eastern Kingbird was in a different town along a cove.

This is cross posted in my thread. This was shot at ISO 5000, and the exposure still had to be raised a little in PCC. Due to that, there was quite a bit of noise in the background as well as on some of the white hearts. Fortunately using an adjustment brush in Camera RAW helped lower the noise...

These first two images were taken back on April 14th. This one was taken yesterday. I'm surprised the hearts have held up well despite temps dropping down into the 30's during a couple nights.

Our county closed the county parks with our township following suit closing the township parks. Thankfully the township reopened township parks but are still trying to stress the importance of social distancing. This was from yesterday.
