    Errno=111

    Not sure why the last quote of @Marilynne displayed showing the color and color number. It was a regular quote when I posted my reply. :confused:

    Errno=111

    I just looked at the advanced search options but didn't have any trouble. However the Home page still isn't accessible for me. You might want to turn off you colored font when mentioning someone. Doesn't look like it hyperlinked John. @jdeg

    looking for best macro lens suggestions sigma v nikon v tokina v tamron

    I'm not sure if the Sigma is the same one @BackdoorArts has, or if Sigma has released a newer version. If it's an older Sigma lens, it might have to be sent in to their company for firmware updates to be fully compatible with newer Nikon bodies. The older lenses aren't compatible with the Sigma...

    Two new lenses

    The 20mm definitely has an unusual look. If the entire ribbed area is the focusing ring, I've never seen one so big.

    Cross-posted from my thread. Both are cropped. Am still impressed with the D7200. :encouragement:

    I haven't been remotely close to an eagle in over a month so I was glad to see this one. Both images are cropped.

    February 2020 assignment - Romantic

    My little furry friend I named Wilson that I've been photographing. This is about as romantic as it's going to get here. :beguiled:

    Hark 2020

    Wilson was waiting for me yesterday afternoon. He has a following in a Facebook group so I told him I wanted to take pics for his fans. Granted he doesn't know what that means, but I was floored by the last two photos I took. They look posed. I don't want him to get too comfortable with me, and...

    Z50 Lens Hood

    @JJZ I did a little digging - probably the same thing that @Danno did. Based on info from Nikon's web site, here are the accessories for the DX 16-50mm lens...

    Hark 2020

    These are a little out of order. Both of these were taken yesterday. I was headed to Washington Crossing when I passed this cow. So on the way home, I made sure to stop - it gave me a chuckle. ;) It was pretty big. These are the pilings of the Scudder Falls Bridge in Yardley. A new span was...

    Post your Squirrel pictures

    These are also in my regular thread. This little guy didn't budge when I made some kissy noises, but after 10 minutes, it was gone. When it came back, it reminded me of the character Wilson from Home Improvement who used to peer over the top of the fence. So I've named him Wilson. ;) This...

    Hark 2020

    Wilson was snoozing on the fence post again today. I only fired the shutter once. And that was all it took. He awoke immediately, stretched, then walked over to get his peanuts. Sometimes he'd stay right there and eat one. Other times he'd pick one up and head back to the wooden fence post...

    Z50 and Topaz denoise-AI

    Rick, did you see this post by Jake showing how much detail can be brought back with Topaz AI? Here's the link to the thread as well as Jake's actual post. This is an impressive demonstration. https://nikonites.com/telephoto/44079-what-your-thoughts.html#post723899

    Hark 2020

    Yesterday Wilson was resting on the fence so I put a few peanuts up on the top of the white vinyl fence. He'd take one, run back to the wooden fence post, then eat it. Later yesterday afternoon I went out in search of a landscape scene for the weekly challenge. On my way home, I spotted this...

    Hark 2020

    Someone on Facebook suggested I get some peanuts in the shells for Wilson. So yesterday I left a few out for him, and he was thrilled. Today I put some under the bird feeder. As you can see, his feet are dirty from hiding them in the dirt. Then he was patiently waiting for more.
