    Cause(s) of soft images

Thank you everyone for the suggested cause of needing AF calibration and the info on implementing such calibration. Studied the subject a little but after a field test (not calibration) of shooting wild birds, I had a different thought about the cause of soft images. I am leaning toward the...

Thanks, Clovishound. Could you detail the menu option? Where to find it? I am not aware of it.

    Cause(s) of soft images

Recently, I practiced a lot with z6ii + sigma 200-600mm + gimbal tripod for small birds. Most images I got look soft (like the sample below). Just wonder what is (are) the cause(s): lens, camera body, settings, scene issue (background/foreground interference), lighting issue, or my technical...

The shutter speed: 1/640". Wonder if speeding up to 1/1200 or 1/2000 would freeze the wings?

    Weekly Challenge Feb 8 - 14 Reflection/Reflections

Just wonder if something's wrong with your camera: the Exif shows "Original Date/Time {0x9003} = 2022:02:12 09:37:17". Must be some glitch I think.

This is my weekly challenge entry with the original size: 975x596. It still shows the browser size (unless resized), i.e., larger than the original size shown in any image viewer. After posted, it's still enlarged to browser size when clicked.

I see I can resize the image before posting, but when clicking my posted image, it again explodes to the browser size (I guess that is controlled by the forum's settings). Yet, how do I know the size of the image when resized before posting?

The first two images (700 and 800) are un-clickable, only the next two images (900 and 1000) are clickable.

Weekly Challenge Feb 1 - Feb 7 Double Exposure

If I click the image in my post, it shows a floating image over my post without little squares to re-size. Actually all images on others' posts too. I'll try "insert photo" next time when uploading images and try resizing. Thanks
