I was about seven feet away from a Heron that I was photographing when it sounded like a stick of dynamite when off and this gator popped out from under the water to try and get the bird. The gator was nowhere in site, he jumped out from under the water to get try and get the bird and was gone all in less than a second. I was amazed that I was quick enough to get this shot. Jeff

It's amazing how quick gators can be when they want something and yet how they can lay in the same spot for hours without moving!

Run, Forest, run! This is one of the oak lined driveways found in the town where I live.
Another sunset from Gautier, Mississippi. Jeff
Very soothing. I like it.
Jeff, I finally got around to looking at your gallery from the National Naval Aviation Museum. The aircraft in photo #50 is an A-7E Corsair II, BuNo 160714. I flew that actual aircraft in 1978....Pensacola Naval Air Museum...

I've got over 3,000 hours in A-7s and they're the reason I stayed in the Navy for 20 years. Fly on and off the boat, go low, go fast, blow stuff up - what a hoot!
