Too much sun exposure as a kid & young guy. I won't give up my little roadster until I can't get in & drive it anymore. A floppy hat & lots of sunscreen are my friends.
Sold a camera to the guy that owns this car and while we were chatting about the car, he seemed very proud how low that it rode. I took this shot to try and accentuate how slammed the car is.
Nice picture, sure does show how crazy low the car is. For my money driving in the real world with such a compromised suspension must be a pain. Scrape scrape scrape.....
Thanks, crashton. When I questioned the practicality of the height or lack thereof, he said that it was all for show. Once he starts the car, a sensor reads how low the car is and automatically fills the bags to raise the car to a "driving" height.
Oh yes air-bags. That does make the car driveable. I have a friend that lowered his MINI using coil-overs & he'd get hung up on speed bumps, sure did look nice while parked.
My wife is well aware of my penchant for parking our vehicles in distant sections of parking lots to diminish door dents. She doesn't take it to my extremes, but does try for suitable parking places. So as to assuage my concerns, she sent me this cell phone picture a few minutes ago. This spot earns her today's Gold Medal with ratings of 10 across the board.
