When the super perigee moon first appeared I feared I'd not get a clear shot - but there was a break in the clouds and I did get in a shot.

Not the clearest shots I've taken of the moon - it was early in the evening and the moon was this dark red from the setting sun.

Cloudy here in St. Louis last night and a little better tonight. As a lazy old man, I shot this in my back yard. Cropped to 25% of original. 500mm ain't that great when you're shooting something that's 240,000 miles away! :)

Ugh, it was completely covered by clouds the whole night where I live, I never even got to see it. Stupid.

I did some practice shots last week gearing up for the big day.

Then the evening before the big day arrives and this was all I could come up with. :rolleyes:

On the big day we had cloud (of course).
