Stopped by the local brick-n-mortar store this morning to get a few things, and picked up this über-nice EL Nikkor 135mm f/5.6 enlarging lens.

Merely awaiting arrival of another lens board & retaining ring so I don't have to swap this with another lens in the darkroom.

New sync caps for my FE2 and F100. The FE2 didn't come with a sync cap, but the F100 came with both. Somehow I lost one of them in the first couple of days after receiving it. It's around my house somewhere. I plan to buy a few more sets to keep on hand. I like keeping the ports covered.

Manual focus on the Fuji X-T1 is shockingly easy and effective. Combine that with my wide angle addiction, amazingly moderate price on the excellent Rokinon/Samyang/Bower 8mm f/2.8 Fisheye II Lens and guess what the magic man in the brown truck delivered last night? This lens is a tank and is only 2.5" long!!

Well I'm feeling a bit excited! Soon I'll have my D800E all decked out, with everything I want on it! OEM grip,D4 batteries and charger,a variety of straps and other carrying gear, and soon I will have a Kirk L bracket installed, finishing it up right! All that will be left is a remote, for some tripod work!:)
So after all the work, planning, and money, I will have my D800E cherried out! Tuesday is the day my new L bracket should arrive, and like a kid at Christmas I can hardly wait! Lol :)

I guess I never really grew up! Lol :p

After 44.5 years in banking, for my retirement gift to myself, I, after getting approval from my wife, of course, purchased a refurbished 14-24 F/2.8 lens from NikonUSA, and got the Labor Day holiday 10% discount. Now I can play with the Nikon trilogy of lenses with my Nikon D810, without work wasting my time!

Three things arrived in the mail today.

Another lens board for the Beseler 45 so I can have one for my recently-acquired Nikkor 135/5.6. A ring arrived as well (perfect timing!)

Also, a nice stainless steel spanner wrench set. Not only handy for enlarger lens retaining ring (see above), but allowed me to finish disassembling the fungus-ridden 200 Ai lens I've been working on. It's now free of all the creepy-crawlies!

Nice - where did you find those @Retro ? Looking for a few spares myself.
Also, happen to have a spare black prism for the FE2? I keep searching ebay with no luck.

Thanks!

I bought those caps from an Oriental seller on eBay. Hong Kong, I think. There are about 2 sellers with good prices and shipping to Canada. I'm going to buy a few more packages. Those caps are easy to lose.

I'm not familiar with the FE2 prism. I don't have any extra parts for this body. I guess I've never looked at my FE2 that closely. I don't know what the removable parts are, or how they would come apart. I've taken the viewfinder off of my F5, but that's a different animal.

Edit: I just ordered a lot of caps from 33grandsun for $10. I'll never need caps again.:)

I put batteries in it, and I'm still seeing white spots, so I know it works. If I had noticed that the port cover was torn off before I bought it I would have chosen another one. I'd like to buy a cover for the front though.
