What does it say about this hobby when "My Latest Purchases" is one of the hotter threads on the board?

What does it say about me that I always am curious to see what others are buying?

Hmmmm careful pointing a finger, four others point back at you eh.

If I don't admit to having a problem, do I really have a problem? :D

Thanks to @Browncoat for this...
After reading his comments on another thread, i was keeping a lookout for eye-fi cards
And no surprise there were not sold 'directly' here in India...
What was available was 8GB at around 100 USD
So next best stop, eBay (been buying on it for years, so am quite comfortable)

And i found this on an auction -

sandisk_eyefi_sdhc_class_4_4gb.jpg

From China for $9.30 :D :D
with Shipping..

it was a no brainer really.. i see it's just a class 4, but just using for studio shots, so no high speed action
Will be a good place to see how good these work
Happy :)

More bl**dy seagulls http://

Seriously congratulations

Thanks. I just took some pot-shots at the church and it's reasonably sharp at the end even at f/6.3. What counts is getting that shutter speed up. The gulls will have to wait some, I got little time to bird today and tomorrow. It's gonna be more smoke. I just painted my backdrop and bought some more light. The LED was 3/400lm at best, now I got close to 9k lm. That should help.

Surprise present of a Velbon tripod from the other half today!.....apparently I spent too much time huffing about longer exposure pictures being out of focus because of a lack of tripod
