More Texas thunderstorms

Putting a dent in the 4 year drought we have been in. It used to be like this a few times a week throughout May, June, and July here for the last 30 years. We have been in a drought for a while now, so while the weather is getting a bit exciting with all the wind, hail, and tornados, we sure are enjoying the rain. (Well, except for the morons that insist on driving through flash flooding areas and drowning their vehicles out).

And then I started getting rained on, so I went inside. After the first wave hit, I went back out to catch the second wave coming in with the sun setting just below it.

None in those two systems. The one before those, a week prior to the first system, had a few. Nothing touched down, but the sirens were going off around 1:30am.

Ok,I took this with my cell phone, but big storm comin' mon! Three tornados were spit out with this one.............believe it or not, FL is ranked #1 each year in the NUMBER of tornadoes each year. But ours are small compared to the Midwest and most are spurned by hurricanes
