Birds/BIF because that's were I and the other avid bird shooters hang the most. I've seen everyone progress, myself included, in the short time I've been here. Others include Spiders/macro, 'cuz Scott and Brad post some of the biggest WOW moments on this forum there. Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!. The B&W thread because when the right shot is chosen, B&W remains one of the most beautiful expressions of the photographic art. Just about anything Michael posts from Thailand. MikeD's threads because he's show's great desire and is humble. WUD's Stuff. I've also appreciated some of the individual tutorial posts, especially with diagrams for dummies like me. As a whisky writer I was happy when a, what are you drinking now thread was started. :very_drunk:

Based on some research that my wife and I did a few years ago, it appears that Gütermann is the best thread, with Coats & Clark a fairly close second.

My wife's sewing machine kept jamming, which is what prompted this research project. It turns out that that last thread is the thread she had been using in it, and it was what was causing the problem.
These picture were taken through my microscope using my 10× objective and my 10× eyepiece. The images are approximately 1.44 millimeters on a side.
