insects never cease to amaze me in their variation and detail, its nice to see spiders and 'things' in such clarity, too many blurry bees around :p

Unknown bug/insect. Wish I had a ring flash, the shadows are pretty strong.

Same creature. This would have been an interesting view if I got the focus right, he was really on the run at this point.

I've got those same green flies in my backyard too Scott. They are damn hard to photograph, they are so quick, if you use the flash they jump quicker than the shutter can click.

In one session I took over 300 shots, and deleted all but 3.

Those two of yours look great though.
​What have you used to light them, or is it just ambient lighting ?
