Don't say duh how the heck you posting this.. Posting from my phone cos for the love of god am not able to access it on my imac or PC through broadband...
Every other site is opening except for this one!
Am not able to understand what the problem is. It's definitely not the site cos am able to access it on my phone via 3g.
Restarted the modem, the computers, unplugged and plugged the lan cables.. No use..
It just says 'connecting' like for ever and then page cannot be displayed.

I think it's a server overloaded between you and this site. I've had plenty of similar issues with my blackberry's. Usually waiting for a while till there wasn't so many on the server worked. But I could be wrong, never having used a computer to go on line myself. Lol :D

Still not able to connect. Very strange. I have a feeling there's some issue with the line and is not able to connect to some protocol.. I got an email from magzster to fill some survey... Survey monkey won't open either.
The only way for the world to learn anything about anything is the Internet.. So i wouldn't wanto break it!!

You're probably right. Maybe you can call your ISP and ask if some configuration has changed. You probably know more than their tech support, but it might be worth a try. Perhaps it's some type of outage.

I had this happen to me on another site last year. The only way I could get onto the forum was by using a proxy. Don't know what happened but it sorted itself out after a couple of weeks.

WeeHector has a point, I can only access my local camera shop via a proxy but all other sites ok. Never have got to the bottom of the issue. I'm guessing something strange is happening at my broadband supplier level as the only way I can access it is either through my mobile phone 3g or a proxy.

I don't know too much about this, but flushing your dns cache might help. How To Clear Your DNS Cache Computers sometimes remember a failed page and keep failing even though the problem cleared.

You could also try (for troubleshooting purposes) going to one of the free anonymizer sites like Anonymouse.org or Hide My Ass! Free Proxy and Privacy Tools - Surf The Web Anonymously

If those proxy sites work, maybe try changing your dns settings temporarily. Take a look at Internet Security or DNS Service for your Business or Home - OpenDNS They have free dns servers and instructions how to change. it can be done on the router or on the device.
We have opendns set up on my daughter's devices here with family filter and our parent devices go with the default Verizon dns. Over the years on very rare occasions some sites have appeared down for days at a time, but end up working on another computer that uses different dns servers. A call to your isp might help, I think they can clear their dns cache as well, but it might clear on its own after a day or so. I avoid calling Verizon. They are too quick to always blame your computer and start telling folks to reload this and that. Usually a wild goose chase. Until they get hundreds of calls they assume your computer is broke and proceed to make sure you do break it.

In the end, I really don't know much about this stuff, maybe jdeg will have better ideas.

Just as a suggestion...

When you call your ISP, try using words that DON'T start with Mutha, Sonofah or You Rat Bastard!

Trust me on this. The IRS does NOT like those words! I suspect that your ISP won't either.

Haha.. Customer Service??
What's that!
My ISP is a government backed service, so though the costs are great & the speed is fantastic, customer service is somehow not a part of the package :D

Spot on WeeHector.. I think so too.

Tried purging the cache, didn't help.
i think there is some issue with the provider which should be sorted soon..
Fingers crossed :)

At work now, so i hope things sorts themselves out by the time am back..
Else it'll be Proxy time..
Hope Nikonites does not have any policy against allowing users with proxies... some forums do
