Really nice shot Don. Is that the rail bridge over the Alabama River between Montgomery and Prattville? I can't quite tell; I think it has a larger center pier because it is (was?) a swing bridge. L.& N. Branch to Wetumpka maybe? L.& N. main north of Montgomery?
During my walk around downtown Binghamton this morning, I photographed the Court Street Bridge. It spans the Chenango River. This whole area was flooded in 2011 after hurricanes Irene and Lee. Fortunately, the flood walls put in during the 1930s and 1960s held, but just barely.

Here is the Arrigoni bridge (built from 1936 to 1938) that goes from Middletown to Portland CT over the CT river. Taken in January so you can see a little ice floating around in the water. If you look closely you will notice that the train draw bridge is open. It is the kind that a whole section spins on a center axis. Shot was taken with my D70s - 48mm 1/400s @ f/10.
