We helped raise some money for veterans during the Hiawatha Sportsman's Triathlon in Engadine. This was on the way home from the Upper Peninsula.

We got stranded by a bliizard bacjk in 66 or 67.. had to turn around on route 2 and headed back towards bridge... rescued 2 other cars and turned them around.. Got to Engadine and there was a light on at the Kings Motel... I waded through teh snow, knocked on the door and they took us all in... (I think there was about 10 or 12 of us..)

I will never forget that hospitality...

My wife and I were out looking at a tree this afternoon and passed a field that was covered in wildflowers. I must go back tomorrow as shoot them. The ones you shot are beautiful.
