Hummingbirds are so hard! The closest I've been able to get and still have them come around is about 50ft But LOVE to see them

That is strange that the D7000 does not have Selective color since the D5100 does. Although it is probably better to do it in post processing anyway.

Keep in mind that the 5100 was introduced in the spring of 2011 and the D7000 the year before in September. I guess the Nikon whiz bangs just did not think of selective color until the 5100. The 7100 has it.
