That's a great shot. It's a shame about the Chromatic Aberration on the windows, have you looked at trying to correct that in PS?

Apart from that, the colours and the panoramic crop look really great. :)

This is a very lovely shot and I think the panoramic crop adds to the impact. The composition is also very pleasing with the variety of poses, lines and angles. Excellent center of interest and storytelling, as well.

The only points I would deduct would be for creativity and technique.
1. You have some fabulous mixed lighting . . . outside through the window and the inside lamps. These are totally washed out. Whenever I see a set up like this, I immediately bracket for HDR. Even a 3 bracket shot would have helped to add more detail to the bright areas. Whatever "movement" from the men could have been taken care of with "deghosting".
2. As this photo is, you might try to up the contrast and blacks a little to liven it up . . . It's a little flat.

I would score your photo 10 out of 12 (12 elements of a merit image). Really well done.

Its a wonderful photo and I agree with Helene on the composition, she is always spot on in her critiques and I really cannot add anything constructive to what was said by her. The only thing I would offer in the way of advice when dealing with chromatic aberration is that you might use a neutral density filter. I have discovered that it can make a difference in some cases and helps to reduce the amount of post processing you end up doing.

Bravo, I love it!! Just an outstanding composition! I would rate it a 10 out of 12 for the exact same reasons Helene elaborated on. I would also consider re-cropping the composition to as to include the top of the doorway and window frame. And a little more PP could really get this image to pop. If you're fairly new with PP, I would put this image away for 6 months or so and then come back to it after you've gain more experience and reprocess this image. Other than these small aspects, it's an absolutely beautiful image. Clearly one for the portfolio.

Cropping to include the top of the doorway/window wil make the large light+bulbs visible that hangs there. The challenge was that officially it was not allowed to take photo's (however a lot of people with mobile phones took photos and weren't warned, but people with SLR's did get warnings). So I had to pretend not wanting to take photos and shoot fast. Maybe if I had more time I could shoot from different angles. But maybe not, I'm not a pro so it might be that I didn't even notice the whole scene including tops of doorways and windows. I just wanted to take a photo of the imam and the people around and apparently it turned out to be a beautiful picture.
