Something a bit different today. I had to cut up a nice fresh pineapple, and I thought I might as well have a bit of fun as well!

It was a gorgeous day here, -15C when I took these, don't worry, I love the cold weather, and my winter gear is awesome.
Both are panorama shots, stitched together using Photoshop elements 10, the first is of the icy shack village that appears each winter, the second is the ice rink the community works very hard on for all to enjoy, for free at that!

Very nice Kim. I love the first one's look at the mountains in the background.

looking at the thumbnail of the first shot to me it looked like a bridge shot. Ridge line - bridge deck and the shacks the support. Old eyes are easly fooled.

I went for a walk down to the waterfall today, (-15C so I knew it would look awesome!) The sun never reaches here in the winter, too bad, but I could actually see the water flowing behind the ice. I did a panorama photo merge for this because I just couldn't get the definition in the ice with just one shot. The lighting wasn't great, but it is beautiful anyway.

Love the waterfall Kim. We have lots of (smaller) waterfalls near my home, but I can no longer make that trek to get to them. I'm pretty limited to areas I can reach by car now.
Oh Yea. Imagine my disappointment to find out you weren't a Samuri.

Nice capture Kim!

So what's this about a D600? Is your birthday soon? :)
