I haven’t tried the masking yet. I was mostly trying to see how it handled a RAW file, color profiles, and crop/alignment tools. I may play with it some more later this evening. Wonder who will react first: Adobe or Microsoft?

PureRaw creates a DNG which you could bring into Camera Raw but that doesn't seem very efficient. Not to confuse the software issues, but take a look at this post about LightCraft which you might find useful.

Are you doing all of your editing directly in PS? I use the heck out of PureRaw as a plugin in LrC but you're right that it isn't a plugin for PS.

I loved my Nikon 1's! They were great. FWIW My Fuji X-E5 with the XC 13-33mm (19.5-49.5mm FF equivalent) is only 74 grams heavier than my old Nikon 1 V3 and the 10-33mm lens! Both are great every day carry kits.

That's a really good comparison and perspective. I remember having related discussions back in the early mirrorless days with @Marcel and @crashton (and others) about the attraction of the more analog controls of cameras like the Zf and Fuji's. IMO I think that is half of the point this video...
