#759 is first rate...I would suggest starting a series of snaps of flowers...made in the exactly same manner as these. It would be cracking I bet. Just look at how your lens is drawing in #759...maybe you will learn a new angle of approach with the pens if you study the flowers... It is a do over with a different flower. I hope to see some more in this vein sir. Sorry for sounding like a lunatic but I really think you are onto something with #759.

I started taking photos of the whole flower from further out, but was looking down from above the flower, as seen in the 2nd one, and thought it would make an interesting snap.
When I was looking through the viewfinder trying to get a good focus ( this lens only manually focuses on my camera ) I was thinking those little pollen buds are like they are looking into the cauldron.
Now you probably think I am the lunatic
