Adopt the farmer alarm clockI always hate it in the middle of the summer when the sun doesn't go down until after 9:00 PM. I don't live in a northern latitude.
The only upside for me is that in the spring, it's a little easier getting up to go on a photo outing and be in the field when the sun is coming up.
Well, I've never been one for napping, unless I'm really short on sleep, or sick. I spent most of my working life on an evening shift, not getting home till after midnight. I've adapted to getting up earlier since retirement, but still am not a get up with the sun person.Adopt the farmer alarm clockwork in the light sleep in the dark an afternoon napp when it's too hot

Just ignore man made time and trust the starsYeah, I prefer to have the sun at zenith at noon instead of 1pm.
I've had always worked daylight myself, so I'm spoiled - changing ones internal clock is hard I'm sure. At least you have early purpose now with some of your beautiful sunrise shotsI spent most of my working life on an evening shift
At my home late June there is twilight past 9:30. When I have traveled to the northern end of Wisconsin by Lake Superior there will be daylight past 10pm on DST. I seriously would hate to go to a full-time DST all year as then I would not have sunrise at Christmas until a little past 9am. Just leave us on the original standard time and stop messing with this stuff, DST is an obsolete concept in this age.I always hate it in the middle of the summer when the sun doesn't go down until after 9:00 PM.
