Help With FTZII

I just received my FTZ II, and can get one cap off (one for camera side I think) but can't get the other one off. There is a slide switch but depressing that does nothing. Am I missing something, or am I just too old?

The side switch is to unlock the device that holds the lens in place when one is attached. End caps rotate normally when you twist them, just like with any lens. Physically, the adapter works and behaves exactly like a lens in terms of attaching and detaching.

I think he is describing the F mount body cap won't twist off. It has to be turned clockwise, which might be what is confusing him.

Yep. Nikon does things backwards on their lens mounts. LOL. Even after many years I still turn the wrong way once in a while.
