This Grackle was walking the rail real snooty like!! He never did turn around before he flew off.

This Mottle Duck was truckin'!! I wanted to get a head on shot with the V trailing it.

I had to settle for the backside.

I was in the Jeep leaving Wako when this hawk flew right across the front of me. No one was behind me, so I stopped and unbagged my camera. Suddenly, there were two vehicles behind me, so I just shot whatever my last settings were. The second vehicle went around the Jeep behind me and spooked it.

Tried to lighten it, but it didn't work.

Wako is closed for Mamntenace from 10/16 - 10/27, reopening on 10/28.

So went to Green Cay on Monday.

Yes! At least one shows up once a year. Really hard to spot. It was under the tree cover.
