Yes, it is very impressive Dawg!! I was very disapointed today due to the clouds in the sky, and yesterday was just not as impressive.

@Bikerbrent They will be in conjunction tomorrow night and will be about 1/2 degree apart. The planets will be setting at 8:07 and 8:12 tomorrow.
They were spectacular enough tonight that even my husband noticed them and asked if something planetary was happening.

I got hailed and snowed on this afternoon in Wildomar. I was driving home, and there were clear skies over Lake Elsinore. It was a strange afternoon. There was evidence of hail in my backyard.

I wanted to try. I took a fall 2 weeks ago and injured a knee. It is a very slow recovery, only returned to work Monday. It will be some time yet before I feel good enough to lug the astro-gear around.

Not in Scotland you won't as all I have seen for weeks is grey cloud

Thank you @Marilynne and @Bikerbrent. I have made big strides in recovery over 2 weeks and expect that to continue over another 1-2 weeks.

No, I didn't, and I forgot to go out tonight when they were the closest to each other. I need to set an alarm to remember.

We had two waves of rain and snow in this area. I think it is finally clearing out.

F13 because I wanted to get star points on the lights...rather than blobs... Unfortunately, around here, the light pollution is very bad...
