Just as I was getting to leave Wako, I heard a really loud splash. Walked back a little to see this gator chomping down on something. At first I thought it was as Common Moorhen, but the second shot looks like it may have been a male grackle.

It's been 3.5 months since Firestone messed up my Jeep. It went to the Jeep doctor today.

I think this is a female House Sparrow living in the Tiki Hut at Hurricane Alley. The male was there also, but he was gone before I got my camera out of the bag.

Our Mango tree is dropping fruit like crazy. Most of them have been attacked by the birds and the squirrels. At least they have been finishing them. Yesterday I had ten in the frig. Hard to give them away. Most of our neighbors are away. They're so yummy!
