Driving down the road, Chris spotted something huge on the sidewalk. Turned the Jeep around and found this Gopher Tortoise. It was heading for the busy street. When I parked and jumped out of the Jeep, it turned around and headed back to the sidewalk. By the time I got my camera out, it was in the wooded area.

It let me get fairly close

Then it decided to go under the fence.
