Day Two Hundred Thirty Seven through Two Hundred Forty One
Sorry for the delay in posting. Had a bad reaction to some new meds and took a while to get over them. I was able to take at least one pic each day. Now I have to get them posted.
237 - Part of my neighbor's flower garden.
238 - Commemorative coin I picked up somewhere
239 - My grandson. Give him some markers and a cardboard box and he's in heaven.
240 - Flowers near work. Saw the little butterfly and had to shoot it.
241 - Stray cat near where my wife works. It lives in the storm drain behing it. Won't come near anyone even for food.
There, now I'm caught up.

A feeble attempt at a spider shot. Not very good is it?Just don't seem to have the nack of taking decent bug shots. I've got the 105mm Macro lens but any time I try to get within 12" of the subject, it just won't focus. Wish I could figure out the trick to doing this.

The Tech Specs show 1.0 ft as the minimum focus distance, so you're bumping up against it.

Day Two Hundred Forty Four
I would consider today a "Good" day. I had to leave work for a while to get my car inspected. That's an annual safety thing in Virginia. It passed with flying colors. (not bad for a 14 year old car). On the way there I spotted this balloon. I managed to drive around in front of him and got a few shots. Found out after the fact that I had the exposure comp at -1 stop but was able to make it look better in Lightroom.
When that chore was done, I decided to get the car cleaned up. Car wash was really busy but I enjoyed the time off from work on a sunny day.
Later, when I got home, I found out that all four grandkids were there playing in the little pool. Of course, others wanted to play in it too. This is Shylo. She's still fighting the cancer, but the treatments help her a lot.

I was able to get out Saturday and take some shots at my Grandson's 2nd birthday party. They were OK, but only family would rave over them. I have a 70-300 coming tomorrow (scheduled Wednesday) from LensRental.com. I scheduled the rental back before I got sick so that I can get some good shots at an Airshow this Saturday. Going to take things easy until then though.
