I'm still playing with slow shutter speed hand held moving camera. Results vary but sometimes interesting shots comes out.

"SOCIAL" medias... Seems many young people spend more time looking at their devices than talking with each others...

Last summer my local photography club had an exhibit where people would trade something for a photograph. One lady felt attracted to one of my photos and offered me a catering for 4 persons. It was a Swiss menu (she's originally from Switzerland). So I thought I had to capture the moment. The dinner was excellent. This is the appetizer.

My 2 submissions for our local photo Club challenge were voted for by all 2 judges. The subject was "Abstractions".

The swinging nun.

And in color category: Cosmic Oasis.

Both shots were captured at my local scrapyard where I was hunting for rust close-ups.

Your friend wears a giveaway T-shirt to a catered dinner?

Writing comments like that makes me feel both old and old-fashioned, but I'm not as old as the friend who should have known better...

Looks like you got a good deal on your trade! Which pic did she take?

I had a chance to try the new 300 F4 AF-S with VR... WOW. Just take a look at this, 1/25 s HAND HELD... It amazed me so much that I came very close to buying it on the spot. And it's so small and light compared to my old 300 AF.

Here's the picture I took inside the store at 1/25th

None of my lens are VR, the results I see with VR makes me jealous... But I have yet to try any. The result is great.

How far was that?
