At some point in his life, he lost part of his tail. It's growing back.

Drove to Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge. These two Green Herons were calling each other, then came a chase and gone.

I was at the far end of the Cypress Trail Boardwalk when I felt a few sprinkles. I always carry one of those plastic umbrella bags from the grocery store. Put it over the Tamzooka and D7100. Glad I did, I got sopped by the time I made it to shelter.

I always carry a black dustbin liner just in case, then i get wet gracefully,cant run any more :D

I was just worried about the camera/lens. When I got in the nature center, the ranger asked if my camera was okay. Was happy to say yes. He didn't ask how I was.
