Finally managed a capture of a female Yellow Warbler !

They don't come around very often and won't stay put for more than a couple of seconds :triumphant:

D750 was stolen about 5 days into the trip. Fortunately, I had all my long lenses packed away & luckily one of my friends had a D5500 that I ended up using the rest of the time. I have a few more that I can post, if anyone is interested. Anyway, a few from Namibia:

Sorry about your loss. I had some gear stolen a few years back and it hurts big time. And I wasn't on vacation! Glad you were able to carry on.

Agree with what Jim said ... sucks to hear you had your D750 stolen, even though it looks like you still got great shots with the borrowed D5500. The reflection shot is awesome!

Fortunately, I backed up all 3 cameras we had on a daily basis, so no pictures lost. Struggled a bit with the D5500 until I figured out where all the settings were. The person I borrowed it from shoots entirely in auto, so it took me a lot of time diving into a menu structure that isn't the same as the D750, along with lengthy explanations about why not to use auto, etc.

Tried this out at soccer last weekend. The only negative I found was zooming in and out following the action-that is seriously one gigantic turn from 200-500. That being said, I thought they all turned out pretty good. I compared them to a bunch I took last year with the Tamron 150-600 and the Nikon is a massive improvement. Really surprised by that, but it is sharper all the way around & everything I wanted to be in focus really did end up in focus.
