Jumping spiders? Jeez, as if they aren't scary enough. Then, they are all in focus with great detail. Maybe a separate arachnid thread simply titled "Things that nightmares are made of"?

Yup. We have small, black, hairy ones here, and they can jump far.
I am ok with photos. As long as they aren't jumping on me, I am good. I am more afraid of stinging insects. I was once chased down the driveway by a hornet.

Maybe we will need to issue you with a special pair of glasses that black-out when there is a spider shot on screen
