By the way, when you want to link a specific post from a different thread, take a look at the black strip on the top of the post you want to link. There is a number off to the right. am i late for the vote? my 24-120 seem to be the permanent lens on my d610. the only time i change lens is for the 70-300 or macro.
with d750 you woukd be able to go beyong iso 64k. that is my limit for d610. therefore f1, 8 or f4, is no more that important than the flexibility for zoom and wider angle. you still have your tripod.

Yes, about 2 weeks too late.
No worries however, others may read this thread and get some info out of it. I might go back tomorrow night and take some shots with my new (to me) 80-200mm 2.8 lens.I'm itching to give it a proper workout.
