Every Sunday, unless it is Monday. Out of town yesterday so took this on this morning. Obviously a sport fan. I wonder if that 3 iron was his favorite? _AAA9256 - Version 2.jpg

Most monuments are commissioned Either by the deceased or their family. But this monument was built by a beloved teacher's students._AAA9270 - Version 2.jpg

the inscriptions all around the base extoll his many virtues._AAA9273 - Version 2.jpg

His actual headstone is quite modest_AAA9278 - Version 2.jpg

Sunday September25, 2016 I have taken the same photo almost every Monday morning for a year. The Canadian high that is passing thru here right now ensures that evenings will bring us the Golden Light. So here is the same photo taken at evening with a slightly wider focal length to give a better composition, I hope_AAA9360 - Version 2.jpg

Sunday October 11, 2016. Could not go. Fighting off a bout of pneumonia, allthough I did not know what it was at the time.

Sunday October l8, 2016 Drove down this morning but it was probably a mistake. Went back home and crashed for the rest of the day.
Did find one stone that had an interesting back story. No doubt the gentleman was working on the panama canal and probably succumbed to one of the many pandemics that ravished that work force. At least is family was well enough off to bring him home_AAA9464 - Version 2.jpg

Hope you're feeling better Ron.

BTW, my calendar has Oct 9 and Oct 16 as Sundays, not 11 and 18.

SUNDAY OCT 23 No joy continue to be laid up by bad bug.
Sunday Oct. 30 Finally was able to spend a few moments here today._AAA9493 - Version 2.jpg
Fall still lingers here. Some areas of the cemetery have not yet even turned._AAA9489 - Version 2.jpg
The tree on the left in this photo was where I always stood by to take my long series of photos. There is a slight depression in the ground just to the right of tree where I always stood

Illness continues but it was a glorious Autumn day so I went for a short drive to Union Dale. Neo Classicism is abundant _AAA9506 - Version 2.jpg
and here is yet another monument to a teacher._AAA9507 - Version 2.jpg

Seems like you've been ill for quite some time. Have you been checked out?
Thanks Marilynne. Had ct scan last week, and am scheduled for iv stress test on Wed. followed by pulmonary test and possible biopsy on Thur. Of course tomorrow is devoted to the election as I serve on the local election board.

Good luck with all those tests and the election board.

i'll second that, get better mate.
Thanks to all of you for your concern, that is my plan but we will just have to see what the Big Ranger decides. If i am forced to curtail my work schedule I may have more time for my photography. AS to election board duty, it is a thankless task but at least it means that people like myself can pretty much guarantee that election results are not rigged. So that has to be thanks enough.
