Can't seem to get the juvies at Green Cay, so I was glad I got to see these at Wako. I counted ten. They were very close to the boardwalk, so some may have been under it.

the Gators look cute at that stage.

I have always wondered (in your shots and mine) why the Egrets have feathers missing around the head and neck area? looking at the mom feeding her young in your shot above I can see why?

They do tend to fight for that meal. Mom/dad seem to get the worst of it.

Black Bellied Whistling Ducks - there were at least a dozen. They were in the shadows, under the tree branches, so I couldn't get a good count.
