Playing with the camera, trying to make sure there isn't an issue -- looks like I'm the issue, which is no surprise, so all appears good. In the mean time, more pictures to post -- don't you feel lucky?
Thanks @Danno. The body has now been sent on to Nikon for repair. I'm glad I had the Square Deal coverage, but the company has the worst communications I've seen in ages. Their help page is useless; there is no phone number for customer service, the live chat is never open, and they take days to answer an email, if they do.
