Ok, Ron, I will do that for you. I have some very interesting stones that I want to shoot, but haven't settled on how i want to shoot them. Any suggestions?

hi nikon pup, i don't know why but the exif data on nikonites does funny things with my data. For instance, when i shoot at 1/400 shutter speed, the data shows 10/4000. I don't know why it shows that way though. Any suggestions?
i guess i had a bad night, not paying enough attention to your data. I see this on other members data (shutter speed 10/1000). Guess it has to do with the software on the program that you edit your photos with.

Perhaps display them on some dark red velvet or dark green velvet, depending on the color cast of the stones.

Black Cranes or Ibis or Heron??? I couldn't find these birds on the internet to identify them. Does anyone know what they are? I live close to the Bird Refuge so they may be migrating. But they didn't stay within the boundaries of the Refuge. I found these beautiful birds on my corner this morning. Then later in the afternoon they were in a field near my house eating lunch with Seagulls. Then when I got home they were back on the corner, the later day light showed some iridescent green in their feathers.
I took some fresh shots of my Connie's Canna's. The Canna's change dramatically every day. 8-8-2016

Won't let me enlarge Wendy, but they look like Glossy Ibis.
