Buying D750 First time

hi guys i am a canon user before, I sold my gear. Want to change to D750 cos of its awesome focus system.
but ive heard that this body has problems shutter errors and flare problems?
someone point me to this direction and said you guys were the best to answer this question.

what kinda of things i should look out for? when i am doing the purchase?

This was a problem for a while but Nikon recalled and replaced all the troubled parts. New ones do not have these problems. Mine was listed as one of the problem cameras but I never saw the problems at all but did send my camera back to get the new shutter installed. Could not be happier with a camera. The focus system is fast but what continues to impress me is the low light capability of this camera and the ability to bring up shadow detail without getting all the noise.

Why did you sell your Canon gear?

The event that sold me on the D750 was when a store salesman put a 200-500 AF-S f/5.6 on it and said "Let's go outside and shoot with it." We did, and I had to have the camera. I might have bought the lens, too, but they didn't have one in stock that day.

I have had mine for about a month and a half with now issues. I bought it from a Best Buy in southern New Jersey. I did run the serial number on Nikons web site and it didn't come up as one with any issues

That's good to here, hopefully Nikon have fixed all the issues.
