This gal is protecting her nest, which she built in the parking lot behind my bar, next to a demolition project. I'm not much of a bird expert, but I've never seen a bird like this around St. Louis. Can anyone ID?

A few weeks ago I run into several Swallow Tailed Kites hunting flying insects over a field down at Flamingo, FL.
I managed to capture a few just before they made the catch.
