I took these shots todays, the gold Jumping Spider is #7 in my '52 thread. I chose the 2nd shot for my 52, do you think I made the right choice, I almost went with the first one but wasn't sure which was better.

This Jumper lives on the edge, he lives amongst the Greenants, the ants larvae is his food source. He is missing a leg off each side, I imagine from battles with the Greenants.

The gold Jumping Spider series is good. I am guessing you like #2 because you have a great sharp image of its eyes. I like that one, but it is hard to pick a favorite. I kinda like #3 as well because of the color and markings.

Thanks for your thoughts. Yes, I chose #2 because of the eyes, it is a hard choice because whichever one I choose is a compromise .

I took these shots of this Blue-faced Honeyeater yesterday, I used one of them for my "52 thread"
This bird is not a common sight, though I have seen them around here a few times before.

We have had some serious rain this month, 564mm / 22.5" since the 1st March.
As a result, the camera hasn't seen much action, but I spotted this little Brown Tree Frog on a leaf beside the verandah and couldn't resist a photo.
