That was an interesting evening @Roy1961. I went to the hills on the west side of Tucson to get some golden hour, sunset shots. While waiting around, a couple came and she had a camera. She saw my cameras and started up a conversation. Long story short we went up the hill and their game plan was for her to get portrait shots of him. I asked if I could join in on the fun and ended up shooting with her camera also. They wanted some couple shots for the exchange of me shooting some of him playing his Didgeridoo. (Sounds x-rated. Ha!) I must say thanks to Tom and Serena for the fun. I really didn't know what I was going to do for the weekly People Portrait Challenge. This worked out great.
@cwgrizz, they are reopening the Old Crow Distillery not far from me. It looks like an old castle and they are trying to bring it back. So if you were missing the original
Ha! Well Dan, I never did imbibe in any of that kind of a drink. When I was a kid, a little beer and wine, but that didn't last long and to this day I'm pretty much a teetotaler. I always managed to get into enough trouble and act stupid while sober, so I really didn't feel it was to my advantage to get drunk. Actually Walt, I am in the same boat. Not to say that in my youth I did not know how to party like a rock star, but actually 7 years ago today I gave all that up. Told my wife we needed to try out a church after a buddy of mine in the club died... We went to a little church down the road and preacher was preaching the same sermon the preached at my buddies funeral. Changed everything... Scared my wife... takes me two years to buy a car... my life changed in an instant. God is good.

Went to town today to drop off my ballot. It was windy as all get out, so this guy surprised me that he would tempt fate. Ha!
Now you can see how high he really was. Having worked on and using basket trucks similar to this, that boom does not sit still, especially in a good wind.

Got about six shots of it, but that was the only one that was close to being in focus. Ha!

Loved that Dove shot, but it is like you say they are easier to catch with a shotgun LOL
