I did not realize this little plover had been banded until I downloaded my photos.
So you should be,those things can move.

You can report that pretty easily ( if you havent) at https://www.pwrc.usgs.gov/bbl/ They were very nice on several birds I reported , and if they get the band-ers figured out , they may send some interesting tidbits about the bird or organization that banded it,, though this style band may be a less specific than for an individual bird. Its a shame they dont make more bands easily readable by photo image ( since they surround the leg)... seems like that might be more information to be had , than where the bird dies.
