Since my new to me 2005 GMC Canyon crew cab has bad shocks in the front, I bought some Rancho shocks to replace all 4 shocks. It is much much cheaper changing the shocks myself than to have it done, and saving over $500.00 seemed like the best way to go on my limited income.lol :)
I have a neighbor friend willing to help me, to save me some of the pain in doing it without any help.:)

And it was on the Nikon FX sale.

Tried it out with my most compliant model - Kiwi my parrot

Picked them up cheap from a fellow member of a local photography club, she had never opened the box.

Always wanted to try using an N.D. Filer - now I have one.

And can always use another protector.

And I had a 58 circular Polarizer but I suppose now I can do a comparison of the Kenko vs Hoya? Or not.

Well... I had a bitter sweet day. On my 366 post are the last pictures of my bike. but here is what I bought with some of the profits. Pictures will follow. I am exhausted. Have to rest...

Only the two gold boxes... I did not bother to stage the shot... I went to Lexington, about 1 hour away to buy the stuff today, and tried them out. I am very excited about both. Pictures will come, but I need to rest...

Jumped on the Yongnuo bandwagon.
Bought a YN-568EX.
It's got much more horsepower than my SB-400. I like it.
Bought proper diffusers for the YN568 and SB-400 and a ML-L3 remote shutter release.

I was just so worn out yesterday after everything I did not even get them out of the boxes. I went up and went to bed until my wife Pat got home. They are not in the boxes today. And it is looking like sunshine thru Friday! Well rested this morning.

Just bought the Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD Telephoto Zoom Lens. Great rebate on it right now. I told my wife about it and that we could not really afford it right now but she insisted that we could and that it was to good a deal to pass up.

Will be here on Saturday.
