Not only does B&H now offer the same price as Adorama, both B&H and Adorama have another Manfrotto monopod for the same price of $59.88. It's the Manfrotto 681B which is slightly taller, holds a few extra pounds, and is a 3-section monopod compared to the Manfrotto 680B which is a 4-section monopod

Manfrotto 681B 3-Section

via Adorama: Manfrotto 681B Professional Anodized Monopod 681B

via Adorama: Manfrotto 680B Compact 4-section Monopod, Black 680B

Now you tell me ... :)

But, but, but...I just noticed! Would you have opted for the 3-section monopod or would you have preferred to buy from B&H? I think the 3-section monopod weighs a little more.

I had a $50 gift card from Adorama that I've been needing to spend since last May, so that helped seal the Manfrotto deal. The 680B will work out fine for me I believe. ;)

which lowepro
I use the Nova 200, but it is different use entirely. I was admitting that Lowepro makes super quality, for those that like to state it.

i havent used one so cant compare , i just like the caselogics dividers they keep everything very neat , most bags ive owned the divders are a nightmare , i also love the bright orange makes seeing everything a breeze , two years from a bag for a bit over $100 with heavy use ill take that for sure

I'm still using the Case Logic, it is a great bag. (Looked quickly at a second hand Lowepro Flipside 400 at the dealer, does not add anything IMHO).

Hey Jim! Since I never had a large lens like that before, is it better to separate the cam and lens when carrying it around in a bag, or does it not matter?
You do not want stress on the connection between the lens and the camera. On the other hand you want the camera ready to shoot.
I use the Lowepro Lenstrekker 600 (first model), to carry a 600mm + camera, I love it, the system is ready. However too noisy to open though.

Did some shopping at Adorama. The bag was 40 dollars off. Normally I only buy 16 Gig cards, but the 32 Gig 2 pack was the same price as the 16Gig 2 pack.

I just bought two of the super fast SD cards. They have a 90-95 write speed. I had never paid attention before so I only looked at read speed which can be a lot slower. I set my D750 on jpeg fine and full speed it would only hit 40 shots before it would slow down. Even though the SD card said it was 80 the read was less than half. The ones coming in should get it up to full speed. We will see

What drone did you get?

Pat in GA

It's just an inexpensive one the wife bought me.....probably to get me out of the house more often. LOL

MOONTOP MT 9916 2.4G 4CH RC Quadcopter with 2.0MP HD Camera 6 Axis Gyro 3D Flip Fly UFO-30.99 and Free Shipping| GearBest.com

It's been kind of fun......very small and light and with it quite hard to control. LOL I'm getting better at it and with getting better I've been looking at getting something far nicer.

http://store.dji.com/product/phantom-3-advanced

The video and pics this things can take are excellent. You can actually control it also. The camera is on a gimbal so it's really steady. There are people that have taken 2-3 second city pics at night it's so steady. I've read and read and read and sub $1000 everyone says this is the one to get.

Everyone also says that their customer support sucks and more regulations on flying these are coming along all the time.

Mine has a 7 minute tops flying time but so far about 2 minutes is the best I can get out of a video because of how difficult it is to control. It gets out of range and shuts off. The good thing is it can fall out of the sky at 100 feet and not break a thing.

Not so with the DJI.....it's flight time is 23 minutes but it's a useful 23 minutes.

I just received my Think Tank R30 BL shoulder bag. I was worried that it might be too large, but it's just the perfect size to walk around all day with. feels very comfortable at first try.
