What book are you current reading, or have recently finished reading

Right now I'm down to "only" three at the same time:

DuChemin: The Visual Toolbox (always looking to improve my photo skills)

Unger: The Religion of the Future (well, I am a Religious Studies grad after all)

Kaczynski: The Billionth Monkey (funny story that's a send-up of every urban legend you can think of and a few you never heard of)

Most recent photography monograph was Girard's "Phantom Shanghai."

Me, I just finished reading Joe McNally's "Hot Shoe Diaries".

My style seems to be to buy many books, but read very few of them. Somehow I ended up buying two copies of Hot Shoe Diaries, but never managed to finish either of them. It seems more nostalgic recollections instead of instruction. Am I missing something?

Nope, you're right on. The only thing it did for me was help reinforce that it's okay to play with TTL flash while also learning how to do things full manual.
