Lovely image,a genuine question here why would you choose to do a 5 vertical pano shot ?

Why do people climb mountains?:D

Seriously. I've been looking at this one photographer's stuff on Flickr. He's on the D750 group , and he does some shots like that and the clarity is amazing. So, I just thought that I would give it a shot.
Here is an example of one of his shots that I really like.

Thanks for the kind words, but I feel I have been standing still for a while. So I'm just trying new stuff. what I really need is to get out of this area and go visit somewhere new. I'm running out of things to shoot. LOL!

I would love to go shoot over in UK. visit Scottland, Ireland and those bare windswept mountains, and castles...

I grew up seeing the tops of barns painted with "See Rock City" Occasionally still see an old barn falling down with this still visible on the roof

I think I recall that Ladybird Johnson somehow brought regulation to bear against the See Rock City barns in the early '60s. She saw them as an eyesore. She had no taste in Americana. I took my family to Rock City several years ago just to do it. The gift shop sells very cute See Rock City birdhouses and Christmas tree ornaments.

These are all such nice shots Blacktop! Puts me in a mood for a roadtrip.
