This is the last pen for a 16 pen order, one in each of the team colours in the NRL. ( National Rugby League football competition )

This one is in the Parramatta Eels colours, they were all done with a 30-06 cartridge and use a Parker ballpoint refill.

Nice job! I really like it, however the TSA probably won't let you on the plane with it. Ha! They can be pretty anal about things they don't understand like a 30.06 casing. How do I know? They would not let my dad take a 357 Mag shell key fob through the check point. even though it didn't have a primer in the primer pocket and it had a hole drilled through it for the key ring.

Nice pen as all of your products are. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Walt.
Yes pretty risky to try and take these on a plane. I always warn my customers not to take them to the airport, but some still try to take them through.
There is one guy at the security X-ray at Mackay airport who has confiscated a few of these pens now as well as some 50 caliber pens, it usually means another sale for me because they want to replace it.

I am still experimenting with my new lighting set-up. These LED's don't seem to replicate the colours as good as the old lights, but with a few tweaks in PP I can get it close.

I used a sheet of white paper in these shots to try and cut out some of the reflections, I think I am getting closer.

This pen is a click ballpoint, I used a resin blank that was made at the same time as the one I used for the bullet pen on the last page, the other one was chosen for the commissioned pen, this was a leftover.

OK, I realised its been a long while since I posted in here, so I took some pics of this pen before it went to its new owner.
I am still making pens, but most have been just straightforward jobs and I haven't been photographing them.
This one is to replace one that was lost, its a different colour to the original, but because of the short notice this will have to do, this is a leftover piece of resin that I mixed a while back for another commission.

I made some spare time today to take some pics of this one before it leaves.
Its a commission for someone who buys quite a few of my pens.

I have been making these Stylus pens for use with PDA readers. A guy that brings my freight a couple of times a week was always complaining about the crappy stylus's that were supplied to him, so I made him one like this. It has created a bit of a market for them because all his workmates want one as well. I make one every week or so, it gets snapped up pretty quickly.

Yep love this excellent work as usual. Hey can you do pens with writing in them?
